Discovery Service Overview

Use the Discovery Service to see what other participants are on the network, form relationships, and open network accounts in other jurisdictions

The Discovery Service allows you to:

  1. Discover what other participants are on the network, and in which jurisdictions (e.g. USD, Federal Reserve)

  2. Request jurisdiction hosts - being hosted in a jurisdiction allows participants to open network accounts in other currencies (and obtain liquidity in other jurisdictions)

    • Note: Hosts are foreign participants (banks), that on behalf of the hosted participant act as the legal owner to funds at the foreign jurisdiction settlement account

  3. Request relationships with other participants, allowing participant to instruct transfers (like FI to FI Customer Transfer) using other (non-host) participants
